If you don't see what you want in our store, ask. I might have it sitting around. (see "About us:" below)
Apache Sage Jasper
Size: 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch Thickness: 1/4 inch Weight: 4.7 oz, 133 grams, 665.9 carats Form: rough slab, unpolished Approximate Hardness (Moh's): 5-6 Transparency: Opaque Locality:New Mexico Notes:This is a beautiful piece of Apache Sage Jasper. Dark burgundy plumes rise up like sage brush on the desert with swirling sand dunes in the background. This stone will take a fantastic shine! It appears much darker when wet than it does dry. Flaws: It appears to be cracked right up the very center of the dark burgundy, but I cannot feel it with a fingernail. I may someday just break it and sell it as 2 slabs.
NOTE: this is a front and back view, NOT 2 separate pieces!
This is an actual photograph of the slab you get. The plastic stand is not included!

About us:
If you don't see what you want in our store, ask. I might have it sitting around. I have a ton of rock that I have yet to process, or what I listed is already sold!! Taking pictures and making listings is my biggest pain. I may also have more of what is listed. I don't put it all up at once. I prefer a variety. My slabs sell so fast that I constantly battle to get more listed. I'd rather be cutting! Mexican Crazy Lace Agate is a good example. I have 150 pounds, but I only put up a few slabs at a time. I don't like cutting the same thing all the time, and I like giving you a broader choice. Also, living in Arizona during the winter, I can get just about anything...during the winter!
I have been working with rocks for around 25 years. In fact, I just found a little flat lap that my Gramma gave me 40 years ago! I am no expert yet, but I have picked up quite a bit of knowledge. Although I can make some pretty nice cabochons, I now prefer just offering slabs. I also cut other people's rocks for $2 per cut. We spend the winter near Quartzsite, Arizona and the summer near Riverton, Wyoming. I have numerous saws in both locations. (10 at last count) I am retired from the US Air Force, and this keeps me busy. Adrienne makes jewelry. Sometimes I will make her a cabochon to use. It works out nicely!
Payment information: Payment must be received within 15 days of the end of the auction. If there is a problem, CONTACT me! We accept PayPal, Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, or personal checks. Money orders take 3-10 days to clear AFTER we get them and before we ship! Personal checks take 10+ days to clear AFTER we get them and before we ship!
Combining: If you buy more than 1 slab, let me send an invoice. I can usually save you a buck or two. Slabs can be combined with other slabs, cabochons and tumblers (shipped USPS from AZ or WY). They cannot be combined with Inland equipment, which is UPS only and shipped from Michigan.
Warranty information: Please allow 7-14 days for delivery after processing, especially during holidays.
Returns: All items are guaranteed to be as described and to be free of unseen defects. I cut the slab and I stand behind it. If you don't like it, send it back. Shipping and handling is nonrefundable. If you do not agree with our terms, please do not bid.
