This is a faced BUTTERNUT specimen that is shown wet and is not polished. Its 11oz and you could call it 4"x 3" and it is about 2" thick. There is some pitting starting to develope on the face but this will polish out real nice.This is such a hardwood the grain is very fine,but looks gorgeous when polished. Ideal to slice up into jewels.Very dense,hard,fracture free material.
