Outstanding patterns in this Unknown Plasma Jasper/sagenites slab. Some areas are reminiscent of california Plasma Agate, but there is no translucence anywhere in the slab. The patterns are outrageous. no pitting or cracks, and the entire slab was hardness tested, and its jasper hard. I cant scratch it anywhere with my stainless steel ruler. From an old california rockhound collection. IF anybody has ever seen this material before, I would love to hear from you.
