Hi Folks. This is a nice small limb - cast of Arizona Chromium. Very special petrified wood which is only found in the Chinlee Formation. Aprox. 180 -220 million years old. This piece weighs in at about 100 grams or 3.4 oz. It is about 2-3/4'' long, 1-1/2'' wide and about 1/2'' thick. This is a squashed piece. Very nice bark detail showing and a really nice piece for all of you collectors out there that have never had a chance to own a piece of this very rare and valuable type of wood.
