Description
This is an excellent RAINBOW IRISED AGATE.
It came from the South Fork Crooked River...on the OREGON HIGH DESERT.
It is no doubt sliced from a limbcast and the area is world famous for its fine limbcasts.
It is about 5" long, but the rainbow is about 3" long.The highly polished slab is about 2.5mm thick.
The photos were hard to get and don't do it justice.It is a real dazzeler if you hold it just right in the light.Rainbow irised agate is pretty hard to get and this is not the greatest grade but it will get you started on at least having some.If this was high grade it would sell for +$100.
