Outstanding Heelcut slab of Belvade Jasper from the Stinkingwater Mountains, East of Burns Oregon. There hasnt been much of this around since the original write-ups by John Sinkankas back in the early 1970s. It is admired for it's lightning strike patterns, and it was once prized as striker material for flintlock rifles.
