I beleive this is some Mexican Porcelain hard jasper....but I am no expert, except for Oregon High Desert material I dug this my self out of Mom's flower bed. I first got it second party to a Betty Warrington clearance sale. It sat in the yard for five years...but I went for it yesterday. All I can say is ... "WOW".
It is and end cut that is about 7/8" thick and a whooping 5' x 5'. it is about 1.25 lbs. no fractures at all. some small vugs. very hard dense material that will take a liquid polish I'm sure. it is shown wet and is not polished.
AFTER CAREFUL OBSERVATION I DETERMINED THAT THIS WAS PETRIFIED DINOSAUR DUNG,SOME OF THE FINEST I HAVE EVER SEEN ! ! ! |
