Somewhat eccentric but always eclectic Dragon has been collecting rocks since he was old enough to toddle through the fields. At age 11, he started working the stones for his mother who instructed him on how to rough out and grind the stones into performs. Now, at the tender age of 55, he and his wife have opened up their own lapidary shop. The business is divided into two departments; Dragon does the buying and rough out work while his wife designs the settings and does the finish work, collaborating on how the slab should be cut to produce the best cabochon from the slab. Dragon says, that being the buy allows him the time to meet many of the wholesalers and do a little collecting along the way. His recent trips to Oregon and Arizona have yielded some interesting rocks which, some of the rough and slabs will be available in the coming weeks. Here is a brief list of some of the fantastic rocks he will be offering: Owyhee Blue Opal, Rainbow Petrified Wood, Red Lace Obsidian, Burns Green Obsidian, Black Fire Obsidian, Java Lace, Ochoco Green Moss Agate, Mookaite, Spider Web Petrified Wood (a new discovery), China Hollow Dolphite, Willow Creek Jasper, and much more.
