Sometime in the 70's this material was found in the northeast corner of Nevada while mining for opal. There was only 1500 pounds of this lovely jasper found. We recently purchase a small lot from an oldtimer clearing out his storage room. This very rare cabochon of Howardite has colors of peach, pink, tans, golds and clear agate. The black blotches are clear agate when held to the light. This unique cab measures 40mm x 24mm.
